Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 6–8 years of expertise in Azure Data Platform technologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, and SQL, with a proven ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions that support enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.
- Build and optimize data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines.
- Develop large-scale batch and real-time data processing solutions using Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Implement and manage Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies.
- Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems into Azure Data Lake Storage and Fabric OneLake environments.
- Develop and maintain Delta Lake-based architectures ensuring data quality, governance, and accessibility.
- Automate deployments and CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data platform performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, and documentation activities.
